Funny! Since I took this job, IWU people have been coming out of the woodwork. It's a nice community.

I teach sociology.

Back to BMI tomorrow! SFO to DWF to BMI, actually. Sort of surprised they have direct flights to longer hauls. (I flew via Chicago on the way here, which made
more sense.)

I do find I feel more nervous on regional flights with younger pilots. I actually choose NOT to meet them if they look too young. Isn't that terrible? But
I only fly American, and I know they have quality training, even on American Eagle, etc. etc. etc.

Hi Everyone,
I simply feel excited for my trip, happy to be able to travel, and even excitedly curious about this whole regional airport and small plane business. I now
live in Central Illinois, and I'm downright thrilled to be flying to my connecting flight in Chicago in just 30 minutes, at an altitude of 11,000 feet.
And then to be boarding a much bigger plane to go to California in just 4 hours.

I can only thank SOAR, Captain Tom, Captain Steve, and all of you for helping me gradually get here over the past 2-3 years.

Who knows, maybe tomorrow some nerves will hit or I'll have a bumpier...
