        <![CDATA[ Got the full program a few days before a flight. Didn&#39;t have time to view all the videos.  But unfortunately the mindfullness and &quot;happy place&quot;
stuff doesn&#39;t really work for me. The flight was high anxiety once again.

In addition, watching the videos was also tough.  I had to stop watching one of them because it was sending my anxiety through the roof.  I was left balling in
my living room.

			<description><![CDATA[ As you know, a phone session is essential (and included). As the email instructions say, if you find yourself getting hits of anxiety during the strengthening
exercise, you have to make certain changes, and if you have trouble doing that, we have to discuss it by phone.

Again, this is not about a &quot;happy place&quot; but a moment in which there was empathic attunement, for it such moments, an anti-anxiety hormone is
produced. A place where you were happy does not produce those hormones.

			<description><![CDATA[ Are you <strong>really</strong> giving the practices and steps in SOAR their full attention, or are you half-assing them in some way? (that was pretty blunt, I
know).

If you embark on the SOAR course with &quot;<em>this will fail, just like the rest</em>&quot; in the back of your mind, you&#39;re undermining the effects of
the course and you&#39;re destined to continue flying without allaying your fear and/or anxiety.

Just based on your post, I sense that you may be impatient at this point, and quickly dismissive of anything if it doesn&#39;t instantly just work.

I&#39;ll view all the videos and reserve final judgement when I&#39;ve done the whole thing.  To be fair.  But so far, I&#39;m not impressed.
<br>
This really is frustrating.  I am a consultant who has flown from europe to japan.  Racked up plenty of frequent flier miles.  Yet it has all been either white
knuckling or heavily sedated.  I&#39;ve done the mindfullness and &quot;happy place&quot; visualization before. As well as a million other methods.
