HOw is Frontier Airlines now?? |

I got on the discount site "Hotwire" to get a flight from San Jose (SJC) to (CAK) Akron,Oh. It is on Frontier this October. The flight is also on a
Airbus A319. I was looking forward to flying on an Airbus because I read they are some of the most comfortable cabins and have clean air,or cleaner cabin
air, than other airlines. And I have slight sinus issues, so to me, that was a good thing. AFTER I bought the ticket I read up on recent reviews on a couple of
sites about Frontier's performance in customer service. They didn't get very good reviews. I'm a little afraid of flying on the Airbus's now
because of the two major air accidents that have recently occurred. I wanted to fly Southwest, but at the time, there was nothing under $360, I got a discount
at $298 from Hotwire, which I have purchased tickets before. My main concern is that they better not lose my luggage! I am an artist, so made up my won luggage
tags. have heard horror stories of them losing luggage. I can deal with rudeness and bad customer service. Anyone else have opinions on this airline???

Hmmm..interesting, this is all very contrary to my experience with Frontier. I live in Denver, CO where Frontier is based and honestly, my friends and I ALL
choose Frontier everytime we can over the other airlines cause everyone in Colorado loves them! I've never heard any horror stories about baggage,
customer service, etc. In fact, lately, all my horror stories revolve around United as I have to fly them because they are the only airline that flies direct
to where I need to go monthly. I would choose Frontier anyday if they actually flew to Edmonton, Canada. United has lost my bags now 3 times in a row and
each time, I had to go to the airport to pick them up because they didn't even deliver them....how's that for customer service? But enough of my rant,
Frontier is amazing, their planes are spacious, comfy (DIRECTV too), and I've always been a fan. In fact one of my closest friends has been dating a guy
who is a pilot for Frontier for many years now and he always assures me how well trained all the pilots are and how great everyone there is. You'll be
just fine!

Note from Capt. Tom I know everyone worries about weather, but pilots really do not worry about it. We simply - instead of worrying about it - completely prepare for it. Before going to the plane, we review the weather at the destination. If it is not 100% sure to be within legal limits when we arrive at the destination, we must specify an alternate airport in our planning documents, and load on plenty of fuel for going to the destination airport, and then if need be, diverting to the alternate airport. The legal limits are conservative. Even when weather is slightly outside the legal limits, any airline pilot could still land safely. You can rely on the captain never to land when the weather is not legal, and legality limits are reached prior to safety limits. If you are still anxious, call me and we can talk it over. I'm at 877 332-7359 from 10 AM until 7 PM Eastern time. Using Weather Information If you enter your ZIP Code or City at the top of the weather presentation, it will give you weather for your area. Or, you can enter your destination ZIP Code or City.
Click on the "LOCAL RADAR" button to see whether or not there are thunder- Turbulence, though it may cause anxiety, does not mean anything is wrong. Turbulence does not mean danger. The plane can handle far more turbulence than Mother Nature can dish out. Though flying in turbulence is safe, it doesn't feel safe. And here is where the SOAR programs come in. We can help you feel as safe when you fly as you actually are. You can see these programs at www.fearofflying.com/store. |
