I have been reading these boards for a while now. My husband and I are planning a trip to Jamaica in November for our anniversary / honeymoon/ get away from the kids trip, lol. Two flights each way, all on Air Canada. I used to fly when I was much younger and never gave anything a thought at all. But now I am quite anxious of flying. I have taken comfort in reading many others share this fear and have happy endings, or should I say landings, hehehe.
I definately want to take this program, as I truly believe that knowledge is power. When would be a good time to start taking the SOAR program? What is the best way to start?
I would like to say that just two days ago I was in the city (3 hours from my home) and near the airport. I stopped in and hung out for about an hour. I watched some planes take off, each one very smoothly, lots of different sizes. I only got to see one land, but that is okay. It was really good for me. I got excited when I was an Air Canada plane, since that is what we are flying on. I also watched the people, travellers, kids, staff and everyone was happy and confident.
The best part was watching the pilots coming in and out. They all looked very, for lack of a better word, trustworthy.
Sorry for babbling, I am looking forward to starting the program.
Take care
Sue
